Responsible Gambling
Online casinos are entertainment. Not an income source, not a way to solve financial problems. For most people, it stays that way — playing for fun with a conscious budget.
But sometimes it stops being entertainment.
Signs of Problem Gambling
These signs don't automatically mean addiction — but it's worth pausing if any of these apply to you:
- You play longer than planned
- You bet more than you can afford
- After a loss, you want to "win it back" — and make another deposit
- You think about gambling when you're not playing
- You hide how much time or money you spend on casinos from loved ones
- You've borrowed money to gamble
One "yes" — reason to reflect. Several — reason to seek help.
Self-Restriction Tools at Casinos
Most licensed casinos provide self-restriction tools. Find them under "Account" → "Responsible Gambling":
Deposit limits — daily, weekly, or monthly caps. Set immediately, removed after a 7–30 day cooling-off period.
Loss limits — cap on how much you can lose in a period.
Time-out — temporary account closure from 24 hours to several months.
Self-exclusion — permanent or long-term account closure. A legitimate casino will not try to talk you out of it.
